SENIORS
Wednesdays at 1:00 at the
Learning Center Building
There is a special service for Seniors every Wednesday from 1-2 pm in the Blue Roof Chapel. However, people tend to come early and stay late to enjoy extra time in fellowship with one another. We begin the service by sharing praise reports and then we pray for one another’s needs. This is followed by a very popular worship time where we sing much-loved choruses and hymns from the hymnal. The final portion of the service ends with a relevant sermon. Comments and questions are welcome as we truly learn from one another. We also have some outings and fun activities with our group. For those who are unable to physically attend the Senior Services, Pastor Hans and wife Mary make visits to shut-ins as well as those in the hospital. He shares Scripture, offers prayers, and attempts to encourage these precious Saints during visits.
Connecting Adults over 55
The senior ministry at Blue Roof Church is multi-dimensional in that it provides guidance, encouragement, fellowship, and spiritual assistance to our mature saints. Senior adults face many unique changes and challenges and our Seniors Ministry exists to encourage them through their difficult times and rejoice with them in their victories. Seniors are encouraged to continue to grow in the Lord and to utilize their giftings and experiences as viable parts of the Body of Christ until they are ready to meet the lord face to face.
